The current status of radiographic foreign body detection in paediatric patients is covered in this review article, along with the types of foreign bodies that are frequently seen, the imaging modalities that are utilised, and the difficulties in making a diagnosis, new developments in technologies and radiography methods that improve detection precision. Clinicians and radiologists can provide the best care possible by being aware of the radiographic characteristics and restrictions of foreign body detection in paediatric patients.
